Heather Keisha Hunter born October 1, 1969 in Bronx, New York (nicknamed Double H) is a former American porn actress, who is now a hip hop artist and painter. Heather Hunter was the first African American actresses to gain widespread popularity in the porn industry, entering the business when she was 18, and achieving prominence by age 21. Hunter is perhaps the best known African American porn actress in the world. Entering into the porn industry in late 1988, she hit the height of her career in the early to mid-1990s, with her main fan-base falling around her interracial and lesbian themed films. Heather got her start while dancing at the Latin Quarter nightclub in New York City. There she met adult film actress Hyapatia Lee, who suggested she perform in movies. Her first movie was titled "Heather Hunter On Fire". She did a few low-budget movies for New York-based Vidway, before moving to Los Angeles and eventually becoming a Vivid Entertainment contract girl. Hunter was the first African American to be inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2003. She has retired from the adult industry.
